Sproles/Thomas owners: expect a stat correction

On that final kickoff return, both ESPN and Yahoo gave Sproles a fumble but it was Pierre Thomas who really fumbled
I know I posted this in the other thread but thought some of yall may want to know about it
if the fumble stays with Sproles, I win, if it goes to Thomas, I lose

Do most leagues punish you for kickoff fumbles?

I saw Sproles had a fumble and couldn't remember when. That should get corrected.

wouldn't the fumble be credited to the D/ST and not the individual player? If he takes if for a TD the player doesn't get the credit, therefore he shouldn't have to take the credit for the fumble...

Are you sure about this? Unless your league has return yards for players, what they do on special teams does not count for the individual.

most of my leagues don't factor in return yards, but give 6 for return TDs...i think that's pretty standard.

Our league doesn't give return yards, but does give individual return touchdowns. I have never seen a league where defense and special teams were credited with lost fumbles

I lost 2 points for it. My opponent has Thomas. I'm down by 8 points with Luck to go.

I stand corrected... just looked back at Trindon Holliday's season point totals and he was awarded 6pts for both of his TD returns. We don't do return yards so I guess i just never paid much attention to the TDs being counted for the player.

I hope NFL corrects soon. I need those 2 points. Need 38.01 tonight from Rivers and Hilton now, instead of 40.01.
