Refs had a rough game today but you still have to give it up to Brady. He must be the only QB in the league that can complete an incomplete pass...truly remarkable.

I saw that. Essentially they were saying that it was a penalty, but because the defensive guy still made the play in spite of the hold then there actually was no penalty.
This stupidity was eclipsed by the Jenkins hit on a "defenseless reciever" who actually possessed the ball and was making a move to run up field.

The problem I have with this call is that they could have called the exact same play twice on NE after that and refused to do so. The only thing you should ever expect from officials is consistent calls for both sides, and we were absolutely fricked on that front.
