I need to be better.
Tough loss.
Gotta credit the opponent.
Stings.
We came back and did some things we needed to do in the second half.

Two 4 minute drives.
We're paying attention to the clock...possibly get a first down.
Can't risk throwing it.
We'll wrestle with that.
They made the right stops.

Yet did several things you didn't need to do.

Offensively, we had a bit of a run game, that helped.
The Pats made the plays.

We didn't have as many snaps.

We wanted to have some balance.

He has the bye week to decide whether 17-18 million dollars per year worth of guards are going to be forced to earn their money and run block. If Payton had come out intent to run today, the Saints never trail like that early or blow it late. When they tried to run, it worked.

Of course, you cannot tell a line you don't trust to run block (or are too pass-happy to make them establish themselves) that they need to suddenly do it late when the other team knows you are running it.

I really don't know when CSP became a "play not to lose" kind of coach.

Just inexcusable. Time management was atrocious.
