Do you say the "r" before the letter p when you pronounce the word "surprise"?



I have always said it as "suprise" without thinking about it. Maybe its a southern accent thing.

yes, i speak english... i don't think the r is optional in surprise...

Nope...probably say Suh-prise... But I never use that word so it's irrelevant

I pronounce the "r" because the "r" in sur-prise stands for "rape"

because it isn't rape if you shout "SUR-PRISE"
