Not to be outdone by Allen, Katy wants in the game.

The guy in the video has it right...it's a $30m "problem".

Bonus comment in the video...it's needed for the band

my high school had a big arse stadium on our campus and we shared with 2 other city rivals. had natural grass back then and that shite was usually FUBAR by the time october came around. now they have field turf so i guess that helps.

Geez, that is a lot of cheddar and seems excessive.

When did Len Cannon leave New Orleans? And is he gay? (Not that there is anything wrong with it.)

This is such a waste of money they lay off teachers after putting new turf fields at every high school yeah that was necessary while in debt and now want this learn to manage money before trying to live out of your means

Don't confuse bond money and budget money

Bond money can not be used for salaries so when they had a budget shortfall two years ago they had to layoff staff

Since then the area has exploded, property tax revenue is sky high and KISD is busting at the seams.

I like how the douchy anchor said "they sure do pack them out there. We loooove our football!" But they kept showing shots of empty stands.

Only the Katy Tigers sellout the stadium.
All the other KISD schools could care less about KATY.

Thursday,Friday and two games Saturday. 4 home teams see math solves the problems.

I'm a little confused why Katy, Texas has 7 high schools. I thought it was a small suburb.

Not exactly a small suburb.

It has two of the largest schools in Texas (Seven Lakes and Thompson).

Seven Lakes and Cinco Ranch are close to selling out the stadiums now.

A new Stadium is needed. The magnitude if this is ridiculous. The abortion that that is the Merrell Center may kill this proposal if the majority of people in Katy can remember what we still are paying for that shite show.
