I'm trading one of these away for Gore. I'm thinking the difference is negligible.

Thomas in a landslide this year. Top 3 TE.

A landslide? I see both as Top 5. I do think Thomas has more big game potential but he could also go through some games where he gets lost in that offense.

He's being an a-hole and pushing for Thomas. Witten is worth Gore IMO, especially since he's hurting for a TE and Im hurting for a RB

Thomas has Manning who's gonna throw for 60 TDs

Thomas is the 2nd best TE option behind Graham right now.

He's also got Dressen and Tamme at TE, and Thomas, Welker, and Decker at WR.

They might as well be inactive

Yes, waving their hands saying, "hi mom" sitting on the bench

Witten is not a TD machine and Thomas is. Witten is a yardage machine and Thomas won't usually be as good as Witten there. Depends on if you want to go for the home run or not.

I have Thomas and Olsen and I am looking to trade away Olsen. I have Witten in another league and I wish I had Thomas instead.

Thomas
27/359/6

14/232/4 came in two games. The other three games were all sub 50 yards and 2 were salvaged by TDs

Not to take anything away from him.

Witten has a bunch of 90+ 1k+ seasons under his belt. He's consistent. I won't be shocked if he has more points than Thomas at the end of the year

No doubt, but that's what I posted about Witten being a yardage guy and Thomas a TD guy. Thomas is a big target and can catch. He will score almost every week.

Yeah, that's why I grabbed Witten in the other PPR league; consistency. But he's been marginal until last week. I think Thomas will have more points for sure, but depending on league Witten could be close because of yards.

ETA: Also consider what round or how much you had to pay for Witten as opposed to scooping up Thomas as a FA. Lots of value there could have spent Witten's value on another position.

That's tougher. Witten will get his catches. He may not score TD's, but he's solid for PPR. Thomas won't have crazy 100 yard weeks too often, but I think he'll score a TD almost every week.

Manning is on a record tear and Thomas is a big part of that. However, Romeo is having an impressive year so far and Witten is consistent.

Can you not start both of them? Who are your RB's? I like Gore so I am just wondering the rest of your team.

I wish I could start both of them. My starting RBs are MJD, Mathews, and Daryl Richardson.

I really don't have a choice, but his TE is Dallas Clark so I think he's just as desperate.
