I don't get the big deal. It's a good quote.

In the quote of the day, as only Les could describe it, Miles said, “I want you to know that our receiving corps is going to be thrown balls to. It’s going to happen. We’re fortunate to have guys that have guys that can go run it, catch it, and make a difference.”
It is a Les-ism but not that absurd. He said shite like that every other sentence.

Can someone please provide a translation of his eloquence?

We are going to throw to our receivers a lot. We know that they can go up and get the ball, then make plays with it.

Read a book fricktard.

Miles added, “When it looked like there was an opportunity for us, he did not attach himself with another NFL team, I promise you. There was no second choice. There was one choice and that was it.”
I really think Miles is the only college coach that could have gotten this guy. Otherwise Cameron would have waited for another NFL gig (much like DC Ryan at the Saints).

These quotes should be cited. This quote comes from another source. This is from the Tim Brando show.

It might look to be a case of Captain Obvious, but LSU has historically been a run-first team. Miles was indicating a shift away from that philosophy. And the results have backed him up.

"Prolific is not easy" is the new "eager beats pretty".

It seems like an obvious statement to me, after the first 6 games.

Mine was from the OP link. This was a Tim Brando interview?

Dont worry, fans obviously believed we were the only team to offer him a job. Renember he was fired and washed up. The offense wont get better, hes just goung to do what Les tells him.

Not many published books have words cobbled together with duct tape and wire.

I hope Les never taught English in his early coaching days.

Hard to believe this was a common theme and a widely held view.
