Some comments are by guys that have since been drafted. Others are from guys that are still on team.

2012 writeup with post game quotes

quote:

“We wanted to come in this game and win, but more, we wanted to come and hurt them,” defensive lineman Dominique Easley said after No. 10 Florida’s 14-6 victory over fourth-ranked LSU. “We wanted them to feel the pain that we felt last year. We had hurt in our heart and we wanted them to feel the pain that we had.”

quote:

“Them boys were huffing and puffing,” Easley said. “I was looking into people’s eyes and they were scared. We wanted to take somebody’s will. Not just win the game, take their will, make them remember this night.”

quote:

Added defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd: “We knew that they were banged up and we knew that they were tired and we wasn’t taking our foot off the gas.”

I suppose shite talking on a 14-6 win alleviates that red arse of theirs from the year before. They got trolled by fricking BRAD WING, lol.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 41-11 beatdown LSU gave Florida last season took quite the emotional toll on the Gators -- especially the defense.

Meh, a one score win is probably UF's highest standard now.

Well, let's see. faulk was out, lonergan was multiple times with back spasms, hurts was out, williford was out. So yeah our whole fricking offensive line was out for that game. good luck this year guys.

I recall davenport even having to come in for a few plays. He plays DT for tulane now.

They both started that game. Williford stayed in until he was cheap-shotted, which effectively began the end of his playing career.

My bad, so hurst started at LT, then quit. Still... Vadals first game starting, i recall porter playing center and gaurd that game. Lonergan dealing with back spasms and trai tuner got hurt near the end and porter played a couple of snaps at rg.

Yeah, and based on comments from his own teammates, it's entirely possible that he is the one referenced in the Easley quote.

looking at the participation report for that game, we still have 15 defensive players from that game on the team. Damn we should be better, but not one starter from the dline. that is the biggest diff.

josh d ended up being an upgrade. So strange cus Hurst was good in 2011. Just dont understand how a guy like josh d can move over to lt but an all sec rt quits once he gets moved.

This will be the UF QBs first game against a tough team (LSU). Let's see how that works out for him.

Remember what??? LSU held those idiots to "0" points until they finally scored at the end of the 3rd quarter, and the freaking final score was a measley 14-6. What kind of "beatdown" was that? They were just hurt because we beat the crap of them the year before. This guy was an idiot to make that statement after such a weak victory! Go away!!!!! Let's see what they say after Saturday!!
