With the Falcons crumbling and the Bucs in freefall, the Saints would have to totally collapse to not win the division this season. I realize it's very early, but seriously- we basically have the NFC South in hand, with 2/3 of the season left.

Right now, we have one legit weakness, and that's the running game. We have 11 games to get it in order; and that has to be the priority for the rest of the season. What can realistically be done? Can we make a move for a lineman?

You're not purposely trying to jinx us, are you?

Enough with the running game already... it doesn't have to be a Top 10 running attack. It just has to be enough of a threat to make the play action pass sellable and close out games in the 4th quarter - which it is.

WE NEED A STICKEY!

"Everyone who watches football on planet Earth knows the Saints need to run the ball better. Everyone also knows the O-line is not performing well. Everyone also knows that we did not choose wisely taking Mark Ingram in the first round and NO...we cannot trade him for a quality starter at ANY position this year".

Please resume regularly scheduled programming.

Well a tip of the hat to your math skills but I believe it would be good enough in the English league

Should we bench our starters when we clinch home field and first round bye?

I think the best Atlanta can hope for is 9-7. They still got to play SEA, SF, GB, and NO. Looking at our schedule, the worst we can realistically do is 10-6.

We can't stop the run. We go up on teams and they are forced to pass. if our offense sputters and a team can run on us we'll struggle

More important is what colours are we wearing in the playoffs?

Bryon Bojengels 111 hit the nail on the head. It's nice to read a post not full of emotional bs.
Talking about playoff thoughts at this stage of the season makes my bowels move. We have a very tough schedule ahead. Let's talk after we play NE, Seattle, SF.
