Coming to LA around Thanksgiving, wanna get offshore...

I'll be coming in with the family around Thanksgiving. I'm thinking I'd like to get in a fishing trip while I'm there. I'd imagine yellowfin and some other species will be fairly close out of Venice or Fourchon?
Any OB'ers run out of that area or able to steer me toward a good outfitter/charter? What species should we be chasing?

Should have went to Hackberry. You can do both. Hunt AM/Fish PM. Thanksgiving is cutting it to the wire though.

Booked up to fish with Kevin Beach (Billy Wells fishing partner at The Mexican Gulf Fishing Co). Heard great things about him. Anyone ever fished with Kevin?
