New comments at the end of pg 4.

Spoilers obviously.

The last episode ending with the guys Joffrey sent to kill all of Robert Barantheons bastard sons. At the end Ariya tells em the last bastard was dead and they leave. Also Theon Greyjoy started serving his dad, I guess going to take on a ship and now be one of the bad guys. And Jon Snow found out that guy in the woods was offering his baby's to the white walkers.

So that's where I'm at, no spoilers after that would be appreciated.

Just over a season in, excluding comedies, this is probably the best series I've ever watched. Wow.

Just a few generic questions:

Who are your favorite characters?
Love me some Arya, probably my favorite character. Didn't think a kid badass could be my favorite character in a show full of badasses. Tyrian, Daenerys , Tyrion, and the main Stark son, can't believe I'm drawing a blank on his name. Lord Varys to a degree too.

HATE Joffrey and his mom. Probably more than any characters in tv history. Dear god. I'm sure it only gets worse. You know a show is good when you hate characters that bad.

My brother says the end of season three its the biggest bomb he's probably ever seen at the end of a season. True?

Boromir getting is head chopped off was probably the biggest for me. Holy crap. Didn't think they'd actually do that.

Hopefully you don't have to do this, but I would stay away from anything on the internet Game of Thrones related until you finish season 3.

Sweet :bananadance:
I didn't believe it could be bigger than Ned's head getting cut off. But it's tight they aren't afraid to kill of main characters.

Yea I'm not googling anything GoT related, other than pics, till I'm done.

When does sea 4 start?

No idea why he would tell you that...that's kinda fricked up.

It's a great series so far. Season one is definitely the best IMO because it is a lot more focused since there aren't as many things going on. One gripe is that seasons two and three definitely can get a little out of hand in terms of the number of different storylines happening. But as long as you pay attention, keeping up isn't too hard to do.

And yeah, Joffrey is such a great character...the dude who plays him is apparently one of the nicest dudes on the cast and apologizes to people after shooting a scene where he's a complete dickbag.

Enjoy seasons two and three...it's a fun ride, no doubt. I may try to rewatch it again just before season four starts.

Also, just an FYI, but I watch them with subtitles on and it helps a TON (not just with understanding dialogue, but also puts names to faces and whatnot and seeing the names helps you follow along much better).

Why? just bc it's a minor spoiler or bc it's not true?

Man you ain't kidding, it's already like 6-7 of em. The newest is Robert Barathean's brother(s) and the weird lady that burnt the idols. She already gets in my nerves. Hopefully the gay dudes story gets the axe.

Well that changes my opinion of him a bit. Bc I hated him as a human being before know that.

Because now you'll be sitting there all season knowing something huge is coming down the line and waiting/wondering what it will be instead of just watching it and being surprised/shocked/whatever.

I won't comment on any of that, but just keep watching...it's consistently a great show. And the problem with so many storylines isn't that they aren't good. It's just that there isn't enough time for all of them. Like you may go an episode and only see like 4 or 5 stories, then the next episode is the other 4 or 5 that weren't on last week. Stuff like that. It just sucks that they can only spend a few minutes here and there on things because they have so many to get to.

I don't know how you're watching (i.e. DVD, torrents, HBOGo) but if you're watching by HBOGo they have an interactive feature during the episodes where additional, non-spoilery info will pop up in a pane on the right. It's worth checking out IMO.

At that point probably Arya and Tyrion.

Your assessments on Joffrey and Cersei are accurate .

And report back once you finish season 3. Season 4 starts March 30th.

The last episode Cersei was the worst. Tyrien made some typical smart remark/joke and she was like "you're funny you know that. Funny. But you know what is the funniest joke of all. That mother died giving birth to you."

He's probably the smartest of all the Lannisters but dang he gets blasted.

There's only been one episode with Tywin in it so far. Just when he sent out Tyrian to be the hand of the king. I'm still shaken up about Ned getting slaughtered. I answer questions about the show like Sansa.

Friend: "Hey do you like the show?"
Me: Bland "yes your grace"

My girlfriend: "do you like this shirt?"
Me: "yes your grace"
Mother: "that's my little dove"

Friend: "hey do you want to go grab a beer?"
Me: "Just. JUST SHUTUP AND COMB MY HAIR."
Friend: "damn dude chill out we still in church."
