Tampa Bay is a shithead as well. Freeman for all of his arm strength and general talent, did a lot of stupid shite and didn't buy into the whole leadership part of being a qb. He can be good in the right situation but if he's supposed to be the leader on a young team, you'll probably have a bad time.

Josh Freeman makes about $6.2 from Bucs this year, another $3 million from Vikes - over $9 million until he becomes free agent this winter.

well isn't this nice.

He turned down a 2 year deal. Now I can see his problem. He is a complete dumbass.

Greg Jennings is pretty good for the Vikings but that is about all they have.

Rudolph is a physical freak with great hands. He would flourish with a good QB.

Patterson is raw and talented. The weapons are there, but the line is mediocre and the QB play is shitty.

I just think of Johnson as a quick patch for a bad situation.

I only see 3 maybe 4 wins on the remaining schedule for them.

I guess I meant Jennings is the only proven veteran there. Aren't most of the Vikings WR's young?

just could be all that more challenging for Freeman.

But perhaps a fresh start some where else could pay off. I thought Jarius Wright showed some playing making ability down the stretch for MIN last year. I wasn't trying to knock MIN's WRs but most of them are young.

Well that depends entirely on the money he was being offered for the 2nd year. Also he would probably be in the same scenario in Minny with whatever QB they draft early.

Yeah, their receivers are pretty young.

While it is nothing like Peyton's group, it is far from a team weakness.

Simpson is a veteran, but I hate him. I just feel like he is overrated based on one front flip. He has impressed me more this year.

Jarius Wright was looking like a very poor man's Percy last year with the bubble screens.

They are pretty young, but I think Rudolph could dominate with a good QB. He would talked about like Vernon and Cameron. I think he could do as well as any TE outside of Graham and Gronk.

I wouldn't have minded the Saints picking him up. If Brees went down for a sustained period of time (i.e. rest of year) have a better chance to win SBowl with freeman than McCown. Also a better chance to not make the playoffs - but the idea is superbowl or bust.

just seems like the one year deal is a little shaky.

I mean, Freeman has some talent to work with but he flaked out in Tampa Bay.

he's definitely been a high and low player.

and you're right about having a legit TE. Rudolph looks the part and Freeman never did have a TE worth a crap in Tampa. Dallas Clark was washed up and Kellen Winslow is only known because of his "fricking Soldier" comment and because his daddy is a Hall of Famer.

I thought Freeman worked well with Mike Williams in Tampa. Now there is a young WR who was able to flourish with Freeman.

Freeman needs to do something with the short amount of time he has or else...
