It should have been called! Very obvious on replay. Similar to b.s. non-call against Fla. receiver back in 2009 at end of 1st half. It was the only TD of the game. Those were the days.......

One of the commentators noted that unless the WR fully extends his arm it isn't often called. The State WR didn't fully extend his arm. I don't think that's the rule, just how it's getting called.

IMO, he got away with one.

That works if it's one arm usually doesn't when it's both pushing.

I learned something new last night. Apparently you can push off as much as you want as long as......... you don't extend your arms. Matt Millen is just the teacher driving the bus and we're all being taken to school.

it was. wr clearly pushed off and miles gave the refs an earful for their no call. the db needs to learn to deal with stuff like that and where was our gd safety? the other long msu td where our damn db (safety, i believe) actually backed off so not to commit a foul needs to learn that a penalty is only 15 yards and a lot better than a td. also, he could have gone for the ball but he didn't seem to know where the hell the ball was. we most definately have some issues with our pass coverage.

Our DB's were better in coverage last night but they need to look back for the ball.

"normally", if a WR uses his arse or a forearm they can get away with pushes all day; if it's low they may get away with it.

That was a two handed push and it wasn't low. Yes, should've been called.

Having said that... been seeing that all season and not just in the SEC. Refs have been fairly consistent in the SEC with it. Looks like an adjustment needs to be made. They definitely let them go at it in UGA game.

yes, it's annoying as hell. lack of ball skills due to lack of experience IMHO. I've said it before on here, and I'll say it again: at home we need to make Death Valley sound off with calls of "ball!!!" to help them out. LSU's version of Gump's "STOP".
