He is a 3* on some site 2* on others. Was playing QB last night against Patterson had 26 carries for 325 yds. Had 482 total yds. Had touchdown runs of 79, 51, 69 and 2 also had a TD throw to teammate Jacory Washington for 74 yds. Jacory finished the game with 3-118 and a TD. Just wanted to shed a little light on Johnson not a LSU recruit at the moment but a great athlete.

I was at the game. It was a hell of a game for Tyler. The runs he made weren't around the corner where he just outran people but QB draws up the middle where he ran over people then outran people. Even in a loss it was a heck of a game. He's a good kid to, my daughter said that in the post game huddle with the team he stood up and said none of what he did would have been possible without everyone else on the team. I know they aren't winning a lot of games but I really like the attitude that Demeritt is bringing to the team.

I believe they will make some noise in the playoffs. Before this game Patterson was 3 in power rankings and Westlake was 5. Westlake should be able to win at least 2 more games against iota and south beau. We shall see what happens against Jennings and St. Louis big final game against Iowa. Westlake should get a home game in playoffs I believe public 3a is wide open.

damn kid. hell of a night.

I'm not real sure but isn't that a Westlake record for total yardage?

I know Byron or Freddie never touched that.

Separating public and private schools is really gonna water down the playoffs.

Some folks say that about public schools...it's still a free country yet! Just in case you forgot, Stevan Ridley players at a private school in Mississippi...

Yea forgot about ol zeke dixon. Hell I believe Channing kile could have had over 400 passing with some of the play makers he had josh cholley, tori ozane and gabe franks. Yea we went 0-10 but were the best 0-10 team ever in high school football. Lost 7 games by a TD or less and scored first in every single game.
