If the defense can't limit Miss State then it apparently cannot be fixed by Chavis...if it can limit State...there will be hope to run the table...we shall see.

I honestly think next week's game against UF will give a much better indication of what the rest of the season will be like for yall.

True, but the season hinges on how well the offense plays. If we run the ball effectively against MSU we will win the game. The defense will give up plays it's who they are.

I thought last week was the game that everyone would find out what type of team LSU had?

Yeah because a loss means losses against OM, Bama, A&M since nothing to play for

And what kind of defensive personnel we have on the roster that we haven't seen. There are a few spots that need to be re-evaluated IMO. Anyone that can play defense should get an opportunity tonight. It will be interesting.

There are not going to be any wholesale personnel changes and there shouldn't be, the best we have are out there. Beckwith needs a look in the middle, more RR, Thomas and Thompson in spots and some help on the D line.
But if the scheme is rush four and no pressure then its GA all over again. I think (hope) the Chief keeps someone hanging around the line its less coverage but maybe someone can make a play.

I doubt it. We won't be able to measure any improvements in the D until Florida and we won't know if the problem is "fixed," until Nov. 9.

Just win the game. Stop worrying about style points. If we beat Moo State in 3 OTs it tell us
that we beat State. That is it. Every week stands on its own.

You have to think the communication and awareness of where to be is something that can be if not totally fixed, at least improved.

It's the getting whipped up front that's the more urgent indicator. We need to show our superiority there first to make me feel better.

That was poorly written! I think the above get looks in certain situations but the lineup stays basically intact.
