The offensive firepower in every unit is nothing short of amazing, but the rebounding has to be a concern. If Aminu or Davis is off the floor, this is a below average defensive rebounding team. In the stretch where both are off the court, everybody will have to do their part to ensure New Orleans is not utterly destroyed on the glass.

But every unit can run, they can all shoot, and they can all get to the hole. The potential is here for the Pelicans to be one of the best offenses in the league, and gone should be the days of those seven minute stretches where New Orleans score two points. Every unit can score in multiple ways, meaning that at the very least, this should be an incredibly interesting team to watch this season.

This should be a fun season.

The first unit might struggle offensively. I can see a lot of nights where that first 7 minutes can't go by fast enough to get Anderson in for Stiemsma.

I think the first unit will be better than y'all think. Greg can actually provide spacing in addition to AD. Aminu is what bogs down the spacing the most. Hope he developed this summer.

They only projected the starting lineup for the first 5 minutes, not 7, but I agree with you point.

Supposedly, his midrange game is improved...don't know how much that is saying but if he can hit about 35% from 15-18 feet that would be outstanding for that first unit's production. For comparisons sake, last year he shot 26% from midrange.

I'm excited to see what this team can do. It's going to take time for it to gel but once it does they are going to be fun to watch.

That prediction isn't wrong, yet. This article is only the authors guess at what the rotation could be
