I'm in Dularge with a travel trailer, think I'm gong to leave her down there. Don't think were going to see much surge, just some wind and rain.

Anyone else packing up and heading North?

Nope. I stayed in BR and letting the chips fall where they fall.

Looks like a few are i have seen several trawl boats pass my office on the ICW. Tide is about a foot above normal here at our shipyard but some of that is due to the heavy rains we have had the last week and i would suspect the strong south east winds are starting to pile up some water.

Isaac fricked my garage last year, I'm putting my tools and other good stuff upstairs, and putting outdoor stuff inside.
The boat is already trailered.

I'm heading south in a few to watch. Hate to drag the boats
back for just wet.
I'll be in a black Silverado heading south on 56 if anyone sees me.

I'm not heading down. Our camp neighbor jacked our boats up as high as he could in the lifts. Everything else should be fine.

I got my stuff picked up. Brought back a boat load of decoys that need foam filling, a presidential paint job or new line and weights. If it keeps shifting west, I'd think about making a run. Water was pretty high when we left this morning and coming up hard.

There was plenty of reds in the ponds yesterday, tons of bait too. Mullet, pogies, shrimp and baby crabs everywhere. When it turns and drops its going to be stupid.

Redfish street in Cocodrie is getting a little water on it right now not sure if anyone going down to lower chauvin/cocodrie today. Might want to go soon if you have a camp down one of those shell roads.

Ended up not chancing it and ran down and pulled trailer to high ground. Just got back home, worn out but will sleep well not having to worry about my camp getting flooded!

my thoughts exactly. Once I got there I'm glad I went, water was already as high as I've seen it in a while from all this South wind.

Was my first run moving out for a storm so I've learned what not to do from now on.
Should be alot easier in the future
