I was just listening to Sirius and on a "Satanic" metal request feed with Jim Norton on the Boneyard. King Diamond, Merciful Fate, Venom, and Slayer played. Grew up with it, still love it. Just put braces on daughters teeth, kids go to private schools, I graduated from college, and lastly have been married for 20 years. Backwards records and the devil didn't hurt me too much. I may need to lay off on my kids for the Hip Hop---I think Not

I remember, as a teenager, I would goto sleep listening to KLSU jazz at nights. Well, I guess one night a metal show came on afterward. I remember waking up to the demonic sound of Slayer playing on the radio in my pitch black room.

I don't understand how someone can go from King Diamond and Venom to shite like BFMV. I didn't think anyone over 20 even listened to that.

Not quite Satanic. The stuff I used to listen to, and still do just not as much, was much heavier than all of that. Not saying they aren't great bands though!
