My cousin found this dead deer on a power line in St Helena Parish. He drove down a trail on a tractor, an hour later drove back an deer was in trail. It had puncture wounds in neck and signs it had been strangled. The predator had started eating rump. We put a game camera over carcass and got a pick of a single coyote eating it later that night.[/img]

You should be able to see tracks in that fresh dirt. What'd they look like?

They looked around for tracks but did not see anything definitive. It is very hard road. They did not see anything nearby either.
