the closure of unstaffed parks is just a slap in the face gesture by our current administration resulting from not getting their way.

This is no different than the halting of flyovers at sporting events.

There is no money being saved here. In fact the erecting of fencing and the man hours to do so probably cost the taxpayers for this vile gesture.
