Free roam in the bed, kennel in the bed, back seat, or shotgun.

Had a debate with a buddy about dogs in the truck bed and it got me curious.

If it's just me and her, she gets shotgun. If somebody else is in the car, she gets the backseat.

Depends, normally they ride up front if we are going somewhere. When hunting or training we travel like this. Once I made the mistake of going to run the dogs and just had them in the cab of the truck. My female decided it was a good day to frick with a skunk...

Yeah this is pretty much how I feel.

Don't think she likes the bed much though. The other day she climbed on the toolbox and got in the cab through the sliding back glass at a red light

On the road, in the bed tied to the gooseneck ball

Not on the road, free in the bed

Long trips/tracking jobs in a kennel

Shotgun, or backseat if somebody is with me.

Kennel in the truck bed if we're hunting, sometimes.

I have a Sequoia now and he rides in the back in his kennel. He's most comfortable that way.
