The biggest differences from yesterday are in the box score

Specifically in defense. We had 2 tackles for loss all game, UGA had 7. We had 0 sacks, and Murray escaped a few pressures. UGA had 4 sacks, and Mettenberger took 2 of those pretty unnecessarily (had more than enough time, but didnt feel the pressure fast enough). UGA broke up 7 Mettenberger passes, we broke up 3 Murray passes.
Besides the fact ODBJr muffed the punt which was huge, the biggest difference throughout the game was UGA had slightly more of a pulse on defense than our defense had. Their DL/LB played better, their secondary played better...in the end, they were rewarded with the W for that...because most other things we're pretty even.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to the DL not pushing or putting any pressure on the QB. Plain and simple.

UGA had 8 and 9 guys in the box all day long also which i am sure attributed to our run misfortunes and our passing fortunes.
LSU looked like we only kept 7 in the box.

This is completely false.

Better safety play by UGa...no pressure from LSU = UGa win.

our d line cannot stay in their gaps and cannot rush the QB, then you have the LBs and DBs who have major issues. take your pick. problem du jour.

D line = weak, no pass rush and no run stuffers
Linebackers = weak, poor tacklers and clueless in coverage
DBs = atrocious all around

I counted often. UGA typically had 7 up close. 5 down and 2 linebackers.

they only stacked the box when we had jumbo sets out there. They rarely ever had 8 in the box beyond that.

Yes, most second half they did not have 8 in box.
Stacked box and prevent are tied for two most misused terms on tha rant.
