I think the biggest question this weekend is ...will Zach Mettenberger be able to drown out all the outside noise and distractions and stay focused??? This has got to be a tough game for the kid....a weird sort of homecoming. Plus looks like the media is going to hype up this story line. CAN'T LET THE CROWD GET INTO YOUR HEAD!!

I think he starts off the game a little hyped up but hopefully CC can calm him down. Geaux get 'em Zach!!

His best game last year was against Alabama, that has to tell you something about his ability to handle pressure

I went in 2009, and it was one of the quietest stadiums out of the big SEC teams. They were winning most of the game and the stadium was flat with a lot of empty seats

that's a key point...he doesn't seem like the panicking type.

I hope this happens too, but then I'm nervous we go into MILES MODE. Our "D" is not what it's been the last couple years, I hope he learned we need to keep driving.

The game was in BR
Mettenberger didn't go to Alabama
He didn't grow up in Tuscaloosa.

This is a whole different thing.

I don't mind admitting I'm more worried about all this getting into Mettenberger's head than I am worried about Aaron Murray or Todd Gurley.

Won't be any different than most SEC games, IMO.

I hear ya.

But, the Dudenberger abides. I don’t know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. Taking 'er easy for all us sinners.

i think cam cam will keep him focused and away from all that...its the professionalism that cam provides to help in tense situations to block out all the distractions

The guy's a 5th year senior with the most consecutive starts for LSU at QB in a long time. He better be able to handle this situation.
