water is wet.

he's one of the top 2 or 3 talents that we've ever had at running back.

If he continues to dazzle with the spotlight squarely on him, NFL scouts will certainly consider him an intriguing franchise-caliber running back in a few years.

As long as it's not the frickin' Raiders.

He is one of the only tru rb's we have had in a while in terms of size speed and strength. I know we have had some studs in the past but Hill is def capable of being a full time rb in the NFL.

Argued with my gump buddy this weekend about who was better, Hill or Yeldon. It got a little heated.

Whoa...., let's pump the brakes a bit. No question he is a very talented back, but right now saying he is in the top 2-3 is a bit premature when you consider that LSU has had some pretty damn good RBs in its history which includes:

An NFL HOFer (Jim Taylor)
A Heisman Trophy winner (Billy Cannon)
A CFB HOFer and Heisman finalist (Charles Alexander)
An All-American who is the the all time SEC leader in All Purpose Yards and 3rd all time in rushing yards (Kevin Faulk)

Bucky Brooks had an article a couple weeks ago about the progress that Mett has made. He's a former NFL personnel guy and he's on a weekly podcast with Daniel Jeremiah that basically covers college football from an NFL standpoint. It's a good listen, usually about an hour long, comes out on Thursdays.

Its still funny thinking about all of the people on here that were saying how Blue is better than Hill before the season. I love Alfred Blue, but there is absolutely no comparison between the 2. They aren't anywhere near being on the same level.

The guy has unreal vision and balance..and above average speed for a 235lb RB.

He's pretty amazing.

Hill is the best running back we have had since D. Hilliard. I love Kevin Faulk and while Faulk was a better all around offensive weapon Hill is the better running back. I believe the guy is going to rush for 1300-1500 yds this season if he stays healthy.

Yeah, I think the scouts need to give him a couple more years "to develop" at LSU.
