Great food for those who use the word food loosely.

Not the best Q as for their meats, but their sides are pretty solid. Lightly greasy, salty, overspiced, but serviceable.

BR BBQ not much better than BR Chinese fare..both are lean pickins categories.

Fine for office workers and soccer moms, not very good for anyone else. The meats have that prefab taste and the sides, some not bad, are miniscule. What am I supposed to do with a jigger of beans?

People that work in offices and moms are incapable of having discerning tastes?

Very mediocre. Pulled pork sandwich is hard to mess up though so that's what I get. Brisket and ribs are terrible. They cater at work a lot and Im always amazed how low the BBQ expectations are in louisiana.

Worst bbq state in the south.

Too much other great stuff to eat there to care however.

I guess, that's Voodoo's target market. They don't build them on rural highways, they place them for the convenience of office workers and soccer moms. Basically people who don't have authentic choices if they want BBQ.

I don't know a lot of restaurants that target rural highways as their prime location.
