One of my favorite episodes. "His apartment looked like shite."

What words did Chris mix up for Paulie to say that? Something with interior decorator.

Tony tells Paulie that the guy was with the interior ministry and killed 16 Chechians.

Paulie tells Christopher that Tony said the guy was an interior decorator and killed 16 Czechoslovakians.

Christopher says, "Gee, his apartment looked like shite!"

I really need to sit down and rewatch the series. I have a feeling my 32 year old self will enjoy the first few seasons more than my late teens/early twenties self did.

It's really a great series. I know most of the dialogue now, but still love it.

Another one of my favorites is Christopher's Intervention. It's a sad situation, but funny in a kinda sick way.

Just a little taste, BB

Mine too.

Fwiw, Steve Buscemi directed that episode.

For a former NYC Fireman, Nucky Thompson/Tony B/Mr. Pink, etc., did very well for himself.

True story, on 9/11 he grabbed his old gear and went back to his old firehouse to help out. Volunteered for about a week until things got more orderly.

"He sat on it while he was high"

FWIW, I watched the episode where Adriana "goes for a ride". That still is fricking uncomfortable as hell to watch.

The malaprops and misuse of words and phrases on that show was part of its charm.

I remember when Christopher and Adriana were talking about kids after they got engaged. Adriana confesses that she may not be able to have kids because she had a procedure that perforated her uterus. Christopher asks, "Both of them?" I laughed my arse off.

One of my other favorites was "He was like an albacore around my neck."

Christopher's intervention are absolute greatness.

quote:

Dominic Palladino: Christopher, hey! I'm Dominic. I know you don't know me, but uh...
Christopher Moltisanti: Yeah, you're the guy who...uh broke into Stew Leonard's that time, you stole all those pork loins.
Dominic Palladino: Yeah, but that's not why I'm here today. Christopher, we're here to talk about your drug problem.
Christopher Moltisanti: What?! Jesus Christ, you frickin' kiddin' me!?
