I get your take and it well may be correct, but the better bet would be he had touched it to some extent due to proximity.

I just think Baloo's reaction is a bit OTT considering the language I used which was,

quote:

I don't think hand is touching there. I would not have overturned the call either way.

I honestly think you're doing the "what, innocent me?" troll, but okay. I still don't believe you're being honest. But whatever. I'm not that emotionally invested in it.

It's hardly over the top to assert that I think you're being dishonest. I honestly don't believe you.

He said "broke it the other way" which to me means the receiving team advanced it for 7 which absolutely can happen.Receiving team can advance an onside kick.

bullshite. I watched it several times in slow motion. The ball was moving. He was moving. The ball was in that area a little bit before he actually pulled it in. I know you're not this dumb.

LOLU.

I'd say "I know you're not this dumb" to you, but we all already know.

Troll on.

And idiot troll is idiot. But ya, you and about 1% of the country are probably right even though about 99% of the country, including 100% of the crew working the game saw it as touched early.

But ya, I'm a blind homer.

Good one. troll

You mean the ones that altered the trajectory of the ball sideways? Ya, I see them and everyone else does too... other than you.

Troll on. You're fun.

Get glasses soon. Look, all I said was "I don't think..." I don't see how any honest person can say that's conclusive, especially when three fingers are stuck out straight and you can see they are touching nothing.

Troll on. I'll be here all night.

False

A kick is a kick. The Kicking team can not advance any kick/punt/short FG attempt, etc but the return team most certainly can.

Iowa State returns Texas Tech onside kick for TD

Baylor returns Texas Tech onside kick attempt for TD

poor Texas Tech...

Seemed like the only view ESPN gave was field level looking down the 45 yd line from the LSU side.

At first, I thought AU had made a play. On first review, I didn't think there was conclusive evidence to the contrary. But upon furthre review I think the AU kicker touched it prematurely.

Wonder what views the replay had?

If you're going to do something, you should at least try. Ay least I know what I actually asserted here. Pretty sure you have no clue.

This. Although I'm 99% confident that he almost had to have touched it before the 45, I don't believe the replay actually does show him conclusively touching it - because we have no depth from that angle. I was very surprised that they overturned it.

It was pretty clear to me from the get go that the guy touched it before it went 10 yards.

Unless that player had the magical ability to turn his body intangible, he touched it short of the line.
