Is this the most talented LSU offense ever?

Serious question.

At their best, I say yes. The O-Line, if healthy, is as strong as ever. The 1-2 punch at WR is among the very best nationally. Mett is solid and we have a stable of RBs. The key is health. If healthy, yes. We just cannot afford injuries.

the coach needs to let them ball...this season should be all out based on the shite show we have seen over the last 5 years, Mett will not be here next year.

Not the most talented IMO. Maybe the best, though.

Let's wait at least another 6 weeks to bring up this discussion...

Is that correct?
And the Florida and Tennessee teams back then were light years better than the shite teams we have played so far this season

Not the most talented. It could end up being the best statistically though.

No, but....If Les wouldn't pull off the pressure, maybe we could have a serious argument about it being close.

In terms of pure talent:
2006 QB/WRs >> 2013 QB/WRs
2013 RBs >> 2006 RBs
2013 OL > 2006 OL
Pretty damn close IMO
2006 QB/WRs >> 2013 QB/WRs
2013 RBs >> 2006 RBs
2013 OL > 2006 OL
Pretty damn close IMO

Didn't Ole Miss, also, beat us, 35-17 at home? THat was the game that put Saban on the hot seat...
While I agree that UT and UF were solid teams, they were not world beaters that year. They both went 10-2 and lost games they should not have. It is no different any other year...we have Alabama, UGA and Texas AM to take the elite spots...
That team was somewhat one dimensional until late season. When Davey couldn't throw it, we got beat.

The 06 team had 3 offensive players(Russell, Bowe, Davis) drafted in the 1st round. As of today this team may have one being Collins. This is a very good Offensive team but the 06 Team was nasty good.

06 was awesome but only scored 3 against auburn and 10 against florida
there will be no 3 or 10 point games this season

Only 4 games into the season against marginal to inferior opponents.
But if LSU's O can keep this pace up through the next 8 games, I'd have to say "yes, LSU's greatest offense", at least in the modern era.
