C'est Bon Restaurant - Mermentau

I've been working in the area this morning and one of my customers recommended this place. Had seafood gumbo and a shrimp poboy. The gumbo was fantastic! A little thinner than how I like mine but full of shrimp and crab. The poboy was served on a large hot dog bun which was disheartening but the shrimp were fried perfectly and the sandwich worked. Supposedly they have fantastic boiled seafood too. Anybody else have an opinion on this place?? No pics were taken. It tasted good, it didn't have to look good.

Ate there often when I was growing up. Best shrimp and egg stew I've ever had. Their plate lunches are always legit. Good boiled crawfish when they're in season

I've been several times. Best boiled shrimp I've ever had. They are hugantic too. The poboys and gumbo are good as is the crawfish in the spring time.

I eat there 2-3 times a month. Food is great. The crabs are always big.
