I propose that these should be divided into two categories: music and posters.

Early contenders for track of the year: Tahoe Tweezer, Get Lucky

Album of the year: can anyone topple Random Access Memories?

With respect to poster awards, I propose the GG Allin award for biggest shite stirrer. IMO, that's Burt in a landslide, followed closely by TheDoc.

Vampire Weekend
Portugal. The man

Proposed poster award: poster who owns the most real estate in the respective headspace of other posters. I nominate myself as Baggadix and Burt Reynolds clearly think about me at least 3-4 hours per day.

Are you the guy that just replied "thanks for the expert analysis" after my statement that Mayweather would beat Hopkins even at 160...and did so (a) without offering up an opinion of your own or otherwise bringing anything to the table, and despite the fact that (b) several others had offered up the same opinion?

Yes, it appears that was you.

I love it. I don't even know who this guy is, and I'm in his head.

I think Alt- J had the best/ most complete album

RAM is second but I wouldnt mind it being 1st for argument's sake

I have grown to love MVOTC and its at 3rd for me right now. Unbelievers is the best song on it though.

Hopefully Arcade Fire will have another masterpiece album. Volcano Choir could have the top album as well.

I thought it was a great year for individual songs but full albums have lacked.
