I know a lot of the old timers hate Ole Miss because of the rivalry that once existed, but now it seems the rivalry exists more in tailgating than on the football field. The true hate seems to be focused on the state of Alabama. I hate Auburn. I hate Auburn for reasons that are not even Auburns fault (Jamie Howard, shitty referees) and reasons that are Auburns fault (chop blocks, cigars). Arkansas is a close second and Florida is a distant third.

Others, I know hate Alabama.

Alabama...for me, I respect Bama (dodges shite being thrown by most of y'all) and I (I can't believe I'm about to say this here) I like Saban. Along with Bama, add Georgia and South Carolina to the list.

*finishing the rest of this post in an underground bunker*

I have a general apathetic view on the rest. A&M and Missouri have not been around long enough for me to hate or respect, even with the history that does exist with A&M. As for Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky...MEH.

Where do you stand? Or, for GCS, sit on the topic?

It varies with the other teams depending on whether they're up or down, but my hate for Alabama is as constant as the North Star.

I enjoyed beating Auburn a lot more when Tubby was there. Now, meh.

I've always hated Bama. I'm a late 60's baby so it was fostered in the 70's and never went away

Ole miss I despise cause their folk remind me of Tulane folk for some reason, entitled with no reason to be (when Tulane folk existed)

Auburn is a new dislike, just from learning how lame and uninteresting they are

Aggie hate has always been there, from the 80's series for me anyway

The rest I don't really care. I probably dislike kentucky more than Florida, good game but never really understood that forced rival crap

I have never had a problem with Saban either. I mean, he is an a-hole, but he was an a-hole when he was here too...he was just OUR a-hole. But he got us a crystal ball and helped pave the way for what we have now. I think he would admit that he never should have left here....so I don't begrudge him at all.

I "hated" Florida in the 90's but it was more envy...they used to pistol-whip the shite out of us in those days. They were just that good and we were just that bad.

In general, I probably dislike Auburn the most. Lots of reasons: Tuberville, Cam Newton, the questionable calls, etc.

I have a pretty strong dislike for Ole Miss...they seem to be that little brother that won't leave you alone and is begging for attention. I think their fans are pretentious....they think they are so much better than Miss. St. fans when in fact they are just wealthier trailer trash.

Now that Petrino is gone, Arkansas is "meh", as are most of the rest of the schools. I have never had an issue with Georgia/SC/Tennessee, etc.

I always thought A&M was a cultish bunch of weirdos, from midnight yell practice to the stadium cheers/swaying, etc. To each their own I guess

I generally agree with this. The only things I really "hate" about A&M is that they've spent one full year in the league and people think they can actually hang with the SEC. Once JFF is gone they won't be anything special...and I can't fricking stand JFF. He is an arrogant, entitled POS that is lucky he is still playing football.

Alabama...for me, I respect Bama

I disagree here. I hate and don't respect Alabama. Their whole program spews arrogance and refuses to acknowledge when someone actually beat them as opposed to them "letting someone win" Also, the whole Alabama fan base sucks! We (The Rant) for giving TCU fans shite opening weekend but I'd rather live with TCU fans than walk through Tuscaloosa on Nov. 9 2013.

I respect Ole Miss, Georgia, and Tennessee. I don't hate Vandy. They are like the little brother in the SEC who is freakishly smart but not as athletic as the rest of us. I pull for Vandy. Kentucky, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Missouri, and Auburn all get my Apathy. And I'm not a huge fan of South Carolina, but I kinda respect them.

Also...

I like Saban

Not me, just...no.

I hate Bama and Auburn because they cheat. Either through buying refs or undue influence on the SEC office. Or by buying players like Cam Newton and getting away with it.

I didn't have any feelings about A&M until their star player is now getting away with breaking the rules.

I grew up in the 'go to hell, Ole Miss' era. There weren't message boards or ESPN to scrutinize every little detail of every team, player and coach. I hated Ole Miss because they were our rival. Today, not so much. But it wasn't about cheating--it was tradition.

Missouri? I'll only start hating them when they start cheating and getting away with it.

One can assume that most LSU fans despise Florida and Alabama. The rest...I have no idea.

+1

He's a control freak winner. yeah his lines are the same. "relative to what we're trying accomplish" etc...but what else are you supposed to say. He got us back on top, and for one more time...he didn't leave LSU for Alabama.

I live in South Florida, so I have grown to hate the Gators more then any other SEC team. Bama is next on that list. Auburn is the only other team I go out of my way to dislike. Tennessee is my second favorite SEC school. Everyone else is ...Meh.....

Strongest feelings are for Bama. I hate them and respect the product they put on the field. It sucks being #2.

I hate and disrespect Auburn. They are the dirtiest, shittiest, most underhanded program in the SEC.

I am beginning to hate A&M. They are more delusional than even Arky fans.

In college it was Auburn and Florida (01-05). Arkansas was like an annoying little brother and they still are.

Of course now it's Alabama, but like you I respect them.

USC, UK, Vandy, Miss St get the apathy tag and the others fall in between

Arkansas - Don't like them but no real issues with them

A&M - Wasn't around back when they were rivals but I'm sure ill begin to hate them soon enough

Auburn - Absolutely loathe them. From the cigars to Chaz Ramsey to Cam Newton to their "Family" bullshite. Hate them the most of anyone in the conference

Bama - Of course I dont like them but I definetly respect them. They've been getting it done the last few years while we've come up short but the back and forth is what makes it fun

Ole Miss - Meh I dont hate them they're just really annoying. They're pretty decent once every 5 years or so but you'd think they just won the Super Bowl every time they beat us

Everyone else Im pretty much indifferent to honestly. Georgia is probably my #2 team after LSU though

I'm not old but I hate Ole Miss with a fiery passion mainly because of my trip there in 2003. It was like if all the urban legends about us were true and happening in Oxford. I've never seen everybody from frat stars and sorostitutes to older men and women calling every female in P&G whores and sluts and being prompted to fight by groups of frick tards 5 times just walking to the stadium. There campus wasn't fun with all their dumb rules and the people are trash wrapped in Brooks Brothers and Prada. This wasn't friendly like yelling tiger bait or Roll Tide this place had an air of violence to it. They simmered down some after Eli tripped over his forehead. Bama and Auburn can suck a dick also just not as hard.

It comes down to the following for me:

1) I do not hate any team. I do get bothered greatly by some fans of some teams than of others. The most bothersome fans to me (when they are winning and most vocal) are: Bama, Florida, Auburn and Ole Miss. TAMU just bothers me, with their HS goody-goody-pep squad like culture. The others. Tenn is next. The others I can mostly stand.

2) I respect the legit football-first-crazy culture of the following SEC schools: Bama, Auburn, UGA, TAMU, Florida, Tenn, Arkansas, USCe and of course LSU. The 2nd tier are not quite as fierce, but legit for sure: Ole Miss, Miss St, Mizz. UK and Vandy might as well be Indiana or Minnesota. Sorry about that UK and Vandy. You are out of place.

3) History and intensity of the actual games. Bama is the tops here, as the LSU-Bama rivalry is the tops in terms of national scope almost every year. Florida is next, in that it is the every-year game that matters most after Bama. Auburn, even though down of-late, offers a lot of legitimacy over the last decade also. Ole Miss is too inconsistent, but when relevant, can play the role of the spoiler. TAMU, while new, is intense when the game plays, past and will be moreso as the next 5-10 years unfold.

All these mixed together, for me, yields my "most hated list" (which I don't really hate, but to play along):
1)Bama
2)Florida
3)TAMU
4)Auburn
5)Ole Miss
6) Tenn (when we play them)
7) Arkansas (just not much fire there - mostly just admire their talent from time to time).

I HATE Bama and always have. I hate every sports team they have and would never cheer for them regardless of the opponent and/or situation. It is not a Saban thing for me. Nick is who he is and I am fine with that. I dislike him now because he is the Bama coach. When he is the Texas coach next year, I will be a fan of his again.

I hated Tuberville and not Auburn, so now that he is gone they are just another opponent.

I usually cheer for all the other SEC teams against out of conference teams. I am generally apathetic about them at best.
