Accomplishments of his 11 years at Rutgers. 68-67 overall record. 28-48 in conference... in the Big East Conference.

With the bullshite at the end of the Giants game last year, and his failure to control his team this year, I don't see him being in the NFL much longer.

The team quit on him last year too. 41-0 ring a bell?

But seriously, he turned Rutgers around. He had an incredible opportunity and he abandoned it. Great team in a shitty conference. Closest team to the NYC market. He could have built something huge there. Instead, he pulled a Nick Saban--except the Alabamas of the world won't be calling him after he is gone.

The last winning record was with Coach Raheem Morris and their management fired him for no reason.

They quit on him too. Their locker room is a mess and they didn't do any favors signing Vincent Jackson and Darrelle Revis.

That was because he was a good recruiter and got Ray Rice.

Ehh, that conference and most of their teams are going down the tube.

He can get another coaching job, especially somewhere in the ACC with his recruiting connections there. Hell, even Dave Wandstadt got a college coach job after his terrible stints in the NFL.

he wasn't going to to be building anything special at Rutgers

but its beyond obvious the guy has no control over this team and will be lucky to make it to season 3

Schiano definitely puts off a hyper douche vibe. His team is full of thugs.

Literally. MERSA in that bitch.

Schiano has lost control of the janitorial staff.

though he is the biggest douche in the NFL, he's a QB away from having the scariest team in the league. The guy can flat out coach. 1 boneheaded challenge...otherwise, he was a damn good coach on sunday.

He was close. His success got the team in the B1G. He inherited one of the worst D-1 programs in Automatic BCS conferences.

But do you remember when they were 8-0 that one year and ESPN was ready to put them in the NC game (until they choked). They were on ESPN every week because they were willing to play on Thursday and Friday. Being that close to NYC, they were on the verge of turning them into East Coast Boise State.
