Having missed all of last year(and Tahj some of this year), these dudes just haven't played a whole lot of football since high school. Neither are ever gonna be All-Americans, but their ceilings are higher than a lot of us give them credit for. They may not be 2 of our top 3, but they are getting better, and I don't just understand rooting for them to suck so that "your guy" will jump them. The improvement of every individual--yes, even Welter--will make LSU a better football team this year.

Well, they played tonight, so there's that. And, tonight is pretty recent.

Oh, you explained yourself. I'm just going off your post titles lately and responding to those.

I do get your point, though. I think that everyone on the defense is getting better each week. I don't know if we will improve enough to beat Georgia, but I am seeing improvement.

But they are getting to play more often due to how quickly the offense is now scoring.

I did like that Tahj took an sideline angle on one KSU play that netted 5 yards, but all of the other LBs would have run upfield and got run around.

Judging angles is a solid skill for LBs.
