anyone check out this gem? Probably the darkest DC movie I've ever seen, and it's animated.
A great alternate storyline that pretty much turns the DC world on its head, and Flash has to travel through time to try and prevent a dark future from ever happening.

The best flick DC animated has ever put out.
There's not very much focus on the Flash and he rarely ever gets the spotlight so it's only fitting his is done in the most epic manner possible. I just wish Flash could've kept some of that sense of humor he's usually consistent with.
Thomas Wayne as Batman was one of the most interesting points of Flashpoint. He's just as dark as Bruce Wayne us but with a different take. Wonder Woman and Aquamn in this one were frickung brutal. It's hard to imagine them being that careless with human life and waging war over a minor thing.
There's an underlying theme here with Superman in this one but I can't quite feel. There's a reason why somebody like Superman is absent from a flashpoint world.
I also noticed that as of late DC is going with more of a Japanese animation style. Interesting.

Not only Thomas Wayne as Batman, but Martha Wayne as Joker!!! That shite disturbed me

I loved this one! I'll be adding it to the bluray collection for sure.

Definitely one of my favorites. There were a few changes from the comic, but I kinda understand why. They didn't have time to include all the characters from the comic in this.
Also, in the comic, Thomas Wayne kills Zoom with a sword. He stabs him through the chest as he gloats.
Overall though, I thought it was a great film. Now, I want to see a Justice League Dark movie.

hes not. they just couldnt get to it if hes not in the movie (i havent seen it).
when he landed in this universe, the government found him and immediately locked him up.

Wonder Woman and Aquaman fricking started the whole war.
With Flash-Barry Allen is less humorous than Wally West/DCAU Flash. I thought they sort of fricked up BA though. Barry displays MidWestern values/characteristics. He seemed too dark. I don't see him as a grief stricken hero.

That's sort of what I meant, he's absent because the gov't locked him up.
I've seen it and Supes is in the movie for like maybe five minutes or sound he doesn't do much. I also just chuckled at how he took care of one of the bombs by letting it explode in his bare hands.
