You see alot of couples like those 2 on these shows
They've been singing one song flawlessly together for a long time, but when you put them on the spot with new material they fall flat.

Hi Hat! Missed ya.
I just watched my tape. I don't really like the tryouts much. Like some of you have said, the plants are just silly and a waste of my precious time.
I only really liked Lillie with the big hair. There were some other good performances, but I feel like they'll be limited and probably won't do as well with assigned songs. The couple was cute and I enjoyed it, but I just don't know that they'll have enough variety to keep going. Every song can't sound like that one and I barely heard the guy's voice. The girl with the disability is cute, but I sure didn't think she was Carrie Underwood good. I think Simon is sentimental because he's got a child on the way.
Hope it's a good season, but it's going to have to get better than tonight!

Watched my tape of episode 2. Much better than the first night.
You anti country people are going to be disappointed though because a good looking girl sang a smashing country version of Somebody to Love. It was incredible.
