Well silly Japanese wanted to retain the old look. What are you gonna do?? There is only so much you can do. Give him more of an Iquana look to authenticate his lizard roots combined with old Godzilla. And that seems to be what they did.

Watched Jurrasic Park 2 last night.
They definitely paid homage to it with random group of Japanese in business suits running and screaming at Trex. I lol'd pretty hard.

Looks pretty good to me, and most definitely better than that Roland Emmerich piece of crap Non-godzilla godzilla. At any rate, that thing got killed by Godzilla in less than 30 seconds, somewhere in Australia if memory serves me correctly.
