Joe, make sure to turn the volume up on the sound system as well. I still have one working eardrum.

I don't mind the volume but just make the shite clear. It's all bass and some muddled other shite.

I spoke with an associate AD on Monday about this, and apparently in addition to part of their new system just sucking, which they admit, someone also screwed up and kept a whole half of the gate closed when it was all supposed to be opened after the band marched down the hill.

so between both poor planning, and poor execution, the result was piss poor.

Most of the long wait times and security measures were also attributed to Boston.

Maybe it's because I sit on the south 15 yard line, but I think the sound system volume was way lower than it was when the speakers were on the south endzone scoreboard. I'd bet most of the people bitching about their eardrums sit north of the 50 yard line. I remember sitting in the south endzone upper section a few years back and having issues with the loud speakers.

I only opened this thread because I 100% thought Alleva was apologizing to the student body for ruining college football for this generation by scheduling all the fricking neutral site games.

YOu dislike match ups that really wont happen any other way? Teams don't want to do home and away, high risk low reward.

They need to rethink their "empty all pockets" and "women remove baseball caps" philosophy at the escalator gate for the east upper deck. I felt like I was at the airport.

"They went from trying to make things "easier and more efficient" to a complete cluster frick..."

Sounds like the medical field now post Affordable Care Act/Obamacare.

The geniuses that are getting paid a crap ton of $ that come up with these great ideas.

Is it bad that I expected this to be an apology about ad space on the only scoreboard in DV currently?

Students don't need or deserve an apology. The trashy element ( read: most non-Greeks) has ruined one too many chants.

the line was very wide and eventually the state troopers decided to move the line in(towards the stadium) and send everybody who was outside of it to the back of the line. that wasn't cool mannnnn.
