The only weakness I see on this team.

That would be tackling. Strange as it is, that's what any issues we have left basically come down to.

Tackling. I would never thought I would see the day, where our teams only glaring weakness is tackling. Call it slow to the edge, the middle linebacker, what ever. Just plain ole tackling. taking good angles, pursuit and wrapping up. The talent is certainly there for sure. All those guys can tackle. They have all their lives.

This should be somewhat easier to fix then any other potential problems like pass protection, coverages, running routes, blocking. Our front 4 is actually getting more pressure then last year IMO. Or at least about the same. I don't see a drop off there. And coverage seems better then what people are saying.

Its just tackling. Tackling. Man. Football 101.

I think it works out and we win a championship.

You said tackling 8,000 times. It's not that bad. Bad angles are more of a glaring weakness imo

Execution/timing on running plays has been lacking for a number of years. Could use a bump in that department.

Tackling. 8001.

I thought it was evident I was doing it on purpose. Tackling. 8002

I equate bad angles a pre-requisite to good tackling.

Just tackling man. Tackling.

Use of TE and screen passes need work.

I'm not sure I have seen Loston wrap up one person yet, he simply goes for the knock out. Learn how to wrap up low and he becomes unstoppable.

That should work it self out when they won't be able to send all 11 up to the line.

Blue should get better. Still running scared. I see Magee as an all purpose back. Good on the edge, receiving even dive plays. It's also pretty clear who the best back on the team is and I am so glad he is back.

Loston and Martin are serious disappointments so far this season. A 5th yr SR taking freshmen angles and 26 almost never making a solo tackle anywhere on the field. Bad angles of pursuit constantly so far.
If Chavis can fix this and the CB's improve, we might be pretty good....if not, we are going to be in some big shootouts.

I really can't bitch about the offense lol. I've seen the tight ends receive a couple passes.

I think my favorite play from this past game was watching neighbors catch that pass and just run over people like a dump truck with bad breaks. That dude is good. Reminds me of fowler.

i wanna see delahoussaye kick a 35+ yarder this weekend. pretty confident in him. did well hitting those short ones indoors against tcu and all the PATs against uab although one was close to being blocked.

Offense is solid overall. Only the run blockin I question at this point right now. And that should work it self out as the season continues.

Defensively, Ego Ferguson needs to step up his game a lil more and start annihilating whoever is tryin to block him with Freak constantly being double teamed. The LB's outside Kwon and Barrow are questionble right now. Secondary is solid at the corners, safeties need to step up, also.

I know. Kwon is a man out there. There is no way we can't find another body in the middle that can't tackle and pursue better.

Put a DE in the middle or something.

Not me. That means our offense stalled. I don't want to see him kick anything other than extra points.

So what you're saying is that our only weakness is tackling? I'm not sure because really didn't make that point very clear.
