So, I only recently noticed that mine is 3.5" capable. Are the specs different from the 3" model? Like receiver length and weight? Info on that would be great.

Any chance of finding someone to trade straight up? I'm never going to shoot 3.5" shells.

HEY GENIUSES! I'M THINKING THESE GUNS HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT WEIGHT/LENGTHS SPECS. YES, I KNOW SHORTER SHELLS WILL WORK, AS I'VE BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS IN THIS VERY GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do you want to get rid of it? Just because it can shoot 3.5"

I think it's bigger/heavier than the other.

You know you can still shoot 2.5 and 3 inch right.

Just because you know now that it's 3.5 capable doesn't mean you have to only shoot 3.5

Shouldn't be much of a difference in size.

My mossberg 500 and 835 are the same weight

I would think the only difference is the barrel.

Yeah dude. I totally get you. If that 3.5 is longer and heavier, I could see how it would not be what you'd want. maybe one of these guys has found the specs.

Ill give you $1 for it and take it off your hands.

Then you won't have to contemplate these tough things.

I think the 3" gun weighs 7.2 lbs and the 3.5" weighs 8lbs.
