Lsu coach steve ensmniger threw 4 to carlos carson in 1977 vs rice lsu 77 -0 carson caught 5 but the last one was from a backup QB

He broke a record accomplished 11 times by eight quarterbacks, most recently by Matt Flynn against Ohio State in the BCS championship game after the 2007 season.

I've seen 10 with Mauck listed as the most recent, so your number of 11, with Flynn makes sense, as he did throw 4 against tOSU.
