How about all these people that never made a mistake or have reached out to those they have wronged in this thread?

How's the view up there on your horse guys!?

Is he gonna have a press conference at the end of the day patting himself on the back for this and telling everyone how good a guy Ryan Bruan is?

lol... I think you're missing the point.

Nobody is laughing at Braun making the calls - good on him for that.

Pretty sure people are laughing at the fact that it was supposed to be kept on the down low, yet here we all are reading about it.

That's very cool. And even if it is just a selfish PR move, it's still a hell of a way to own up.

Not saying it is a "selfish PR movie" btw, just saying that regardless, it's an awesome thing to do.

You don't think Ryan Braun calling fans and having 5 minute conversations with them wouldn't generate organic press?

It could happen both ways. Maybe it was generated by the brewers pr team, maybe the press caught wind of it and did the story. Maybe you guys know more than what I read.

I hope he's saying he's sorry he got caught because the guy clearly isn't sorry he did it.

Yeah, that's kind of how I feel.

It shows that he does care enough about his fans, either way. If I was a fan of his, and the least bit pissed, I'd appreciate the gesture very much.

That's why I'm reading about it on a message board.

Everyone in Milwaukee he called kept quiet about it I am sure.

All Braun had to do is go on TV and say "You got me. I'm sorry." It would've been done with after that. He's the one that's drawing out this whole ordeal. The team-released statement, now this. What a chicken shite.

I hope (but doubt) the first person he called was Dino Laurenzi, Jr.

Because he made it is business to try and ruin that guy's life

Dino was fired because MLB was embarrassed by Braun in arbitration and THEY fired him.

Braun's smear campaign against Dino was a dick move, but Braun didn't let Dino go for taking the sample home with him.

MLB firing him was the fault of Braun for lying about the reason for him being positive for steroids.

They (MLB) designed the policy for testing (which he followed to the best of his ability) and the shameful and complete bullshite that followed on the part of Braun deserves heaps of scorn. The man ran around claiming that people who thought he was dirty were tampering with samples or anti-semitic. That is some of the most classless and disgusting behavior out of anyone not named Lance Armstrong you will ever see in professional sports.
