Likely behind Bama and UF. Anyone I'm overlooking?

Top 3 easy. They were very solid up front and their secondary was beastly. I hope and think they tear through the B12

TCU is good on defense and fast on offense. It wouldn't surprise me if they ran the table in the regular season.

I'd agree with you. Behind Bama/Florida and ahead of Miss. St.

I sometimes feel bad for Miss St's defense. They would be pretty stout if they didn't always get worn down by their offense's ineptitude.

Agree with what everyone else said, and they'll be better when Fields is reinstated.

Well, they are pretty damn good in the defensive backfield. Fast as shite. Florida and Bama all around are probably tougher. Don't forget south Carolina and lets hope the Georgia D stays as green as they were against Clemson; a game that Georgia should have won.

IMO if TCU was in the SEC they would have the 5th best D behind LSU, Bama, South Carolina, and UF.

They were top 15 last season while playing a lot of young guys and return 8 or 9 starters from that group. They are very well coached by Patterson too.

We will not face a defense that is coached better or more prepared than TCU..and will only face a few that have more talent.

Top two. Maybe #1. Hard to tell about Bama because VA Tech was horrible on offense.

I believe that the TCU game could serve as a gift-horse sent from God...if we use it properly...their defense was damn tough and well coached...I think this will prepare the team for what's to come after the next two cupcakes...if Chief gets the LBs properly set...

LSU D > TCU D and it isn't all that close. TCU is good, but they will always get worn down by an SEC caliber OL.
