Kinda strange given our reputation as a smash-mouth run first team...

Maybe that's why CR went to Bama? they have a better track record lately of producing NFL quality guys.

Any thoughts on how LSU could possibly get OL recruits in the pipeline like we do skill players and of course DLine?

Joseph Barksdale is about it. Livings and Whitworth as well.

Of course Alabama only has about 5 or 6 either, so it aint like anyone has more than 5 or 6.

Ummm yeah.... Keep Cam Cam and keep winning, pretty simple! Hey guys CamR will regret this watch!!! The Tigers are about to flip this Nation Domination! I'm telling you guys..... Fear the Hats Cam!!!!! Can't wait to see Saban have fits on the sideline!!!!! At home no less! They could barely best us without a legitimate offense..... It's not gonna be close if we play mistake free ball & we don't have to beat the refs too but even if we have to beat the refs I think we win by 10!!! hey bama

It's just strange the SEC as a whole is known for speed and Defensive Lineman, but OL guys are rare as hell relatively speaking.

We need some of those big beefy yanks, or some Hawaii'ans or something in the mix...

Delegate some recruiters to those areas maybe?

That's the point.
Les is a OL guy himself, find out where these guys are and let Miles lay on his charm, or something.

Get some fricking beef into the program.

You obviously don't follow recruiting much. Last year's O line class is probably the best ever at LSU. That plus the studs we have starting on the O line currently. Collins, Alexander, Turner, and Hawkins are all currently ranked in the top 5 for their position and draft class. All 4 are likely to rise in the rankings because they've played more and had more success that some of the players ranked in front of them.

About 3 years Miles and Stud shifted to recruiting more athletic linemen. Now we're seeing the payoff as this O line could be one of the best in the country. Even if Collins leaves we should be set with Hawkins at LT. Who scouts are drooling at. Hawkins has top 5 overall pick potential. All four have 1st round potential.

We have had a lot of OL attrition under Miles. I am hoping the ball bounces in our favor going forward.

I hope you're right and I agree LSU seems to have put more emphasis on the OL recruiting wise lately.

Was just perusing a site listing where top NFL OL's came from and only 2 of the top 10 were from the south, one from TCU, and the other from Houston. The other 8 were from the west coast or up north.

LSU O line will be just fine. You will have those recruits who jump on the Bama Band wagon. There are some talented football players in this state who would love to play for LSU.
