Would you make this move/trade..

12-man league.
2 HB, 2 WR and FLEX - which can be a TE.
At TE I have Rudolph, Olsen and Meyers.
I just spotted Julius Thomas for Denver on the FA wire. But since only 3 TEs are allowed on roster, should I trade Meyers to a stacked team who has Ben Tate, since Arian Foster is my RB1. Then grab Thomas off waver wire.
Or does Meyers blow up with Eli and Thomas just become some random guy that people talked about for a couple weeks?
My hope is to play 2 TEs all season using my flex. If not, Chris Ivory better ball in my FLEX all year long..

PPR? Otherwise those will suck as flex options. If someone would trade you Tate for either Olsen or Myers I would do it and pick up Thomas.

No PPR. And I will certainly start out playing Ivory in FLEX unless someone like Hopkins breaks through down the line.

That would be a good move. Tate is a must have for you and Myers really isn't anything special.

Why is that funny? He can play a TE in the flex

I doubt the Tate owner would accept that trade, but if he does, do it in a heart beat.

If both your TE's aren't named Jimmy Graham or Gronk you're doing it wrong. They score like a decent runningback so it's okay to flex them.

Gonzales scores.
And I made the trade. Got Tate for Meyers and added Thomas.
Thomas and Olsen will sit on my bench for week 1 unless I move one of them into the starting TE spot for Rudolph.
Ivory wins the FLEX job in week 1 for me.

I had him last year and he was a beast. But, I wasn't expecting 12 to 15 from him. Meaning, I was pleasantly surprised went he put up that much.
As your sole TE, he's a good option. But I wouldn't start say Gonzo in the flex if I had only 1 out of Graham or Gronk.
I kind of expect that out of Graham and Gronk.
