Why did TCU not get a safety? Is that just an nfl thing?

It wasn't an intentional grounding because the back was in the vicinity.

Officials said no grounding. He threw at 14's feet. Smart move on a busted screen.

The ref explained that it wasn't grounding because there was a receiver in the area.

You feel bad now, don't you?

You have prolly thought this whole time that he made a shitty decision by not getting rid of the ball, only to now find out that you were wrong.

I think you should apologize publicly to Mett...here, in front of everyone.

There was no grounding call in the end zone. People keep saying something about him throwing the ball into the dirt. He's actually showing a lot of maturity as a quarterback. In a screen pass, you only have one receiver to throw too. In this case the receiver was not open and the play was busted. At that point the correct thing to do is throw the ball at his feet, and that's just what Mett did. We do need to work on our screen game but not the QB. Our OL and RB have to do a better job of disguising the play.

If you we're at the game, you heard "grounding" from the ref, but it was loud and you couldn't hear complete statement that...

it wasn't grounding

not grounding... eligible receiver in the area (the RB)

he slammed it at the RB's feet since TCU's D snuffed out the screen pass
