The dolphins are annoying as I've ever remembered.
They never seemed to be a problem when I was younger.

We saw a tagged one, we were going to kill it to turn the tag in like a duck band, but didn't know who to send it to.

We had to release 75+ 11.5 inch trout and they are there waiting on every single one that goes back. There is no way a size limit can be beneficial anymore.
If i catch 50 fish keep 25 and release 25 and the dolphins eat 1/2 of those how it that good for the trout population.

/rant over.

I freaking hate dolphins. I would be real careful talking about killing one because there are some folks around that think dolphins hung the moon.

I did a little Dolphin harassing the other day, but I will not give specifics. AHouseDivided can verify the awesomeness of my harassment. I mostly harassed the dolphin to let it know who is boss so in case I fall in the water, I don't get taken to its rape cave.

If they shut down all fishing in LA tomorrow, 1/2 of those bitches would starve.

I wish i could teach them to break into crab traps or untie trawls, they would be taken care of then.

You will never hate a dolphin as much as a deckhand trolling for billfish does. Those damned dolphins will come up and bite every single ballyhoo and mackerel off right behind your hook. It's worse than clearing grass all day.

At least you can kill hogs and eat some if them.

Yep and in the rare chance you hook one (I have before), they will spool an 80 in about 30 seconds.

We were fishing a reef about a month ago and every time we'd bring a fish up from 300ft you'd see the dolphins coming, they'd disappear, then your line would get a hard hit then slack... freeloading fricks

I've run into dolphin number 33 and 46 on multiple occasions at 4-bayous and behind grand terre. They are a real pain

Hogs easily. I don't hate dolphins. On my last two trips to GI, they were everywhere, and caused us no issues at all. I just need a certain board member to stop feeding them.

Not sure what is meant by "harassing" dolphins, but I'll just leave this idea with you:

Tie a pretty good size lead weight to the end of your line- no hooks, lures, etc. Cast that weight directly at the dolphin as hard as you can. It will run a porpoise off in seconds. Yeah, it works. I've seen it!!

Learned this tactic from a guide in Florida in whom I have complete faith. Works like a charm. Might be a well-known trick to some, but I had never heard of it till several years ago.
