What Will Happen: LSU will flex a little muscle. The NFL-caliber quarterbacks – Mettenberger and Pachall – won’t come up with big games, but they’ll keep pushing. LSU’s ground game will take control after a rough first half. Points will be at a premium early, but the Tigers will pull away late.

Alabama, Alabama, Alabama … is the world sleeping on LSU? The preseason No. 12 ranking isn’t exactly a slap in the face, but considering it was a last-gasp, game-winning drive from Alabama from playing in the SEC championship and possibly in the BCS championship, and a last-gasp, game-winning drive from Clemson away from closing out with an 11-win campaign and an almost certain top ten, possibly top five start to the season.

Exactly what I expect too

I said the exact same thing. I think its close till the 4th then the LSU ground game wears TCU's D out and scores 2 td's in the 4th for a 31-17 win.

I just don't see any way Pachall can be close to effective this game. He's been away from football for a year and the only somewhat legit opponent was Boise State.
LSU will eat him alive.

That's exactly what I expect them to do. People get these high flying expectations for the aTms and TCUs, etc... and LSU brings them crashing back to reality

We are going to run it down their throats until we create them a new a-hole

I know it's a big "IF"...but if Cam has got the offense clicking as some of us suspect, the game won't be that close...I think that our DL is superior to theirs...and our OL is just as strong...if Mett is soaking up what Cam is teaching, and not just giving lip-service to it, all should go smoothly...out DTs should have a field day! JMHO

I would genuinly be alright with this scenario

It's finally that time of year where I start reading CFN every day. Thank God.

LSU will pull away by the second half. Coach Cam will demand execution.

Great start to the morning

Definitely want a double digit lead going into the fourth. Love to see as many young Tigers (esp A Jennings) get a few snaps in such a big game environment as possible.

Didn't we try that against UNC?

Remember, there but for the grace of a whopper of a break in 2011 and an AJ McCarron drive in 2012, we all could be talking about a possible LSU threepeat. Instead, this is just another fantastically talented Les Miles team that’s just a few tweaks away from being truly special.
