Good, he should be able to profit from his name.

It's Rice. Johnny Football would probably be happy to take the whole game off and just party the night before.

So I'm trying to figure out, what exactly did he get suspended for?

For not trying to stop the brokers that he knowingly sat down and signed hundreds of items for in order for them to sell from selling said items. NCAA logic. It's awesome.

amazing that the Aggies are so willing to forget all about their moral high ground standards to sell their soul for 3rd place in the SEC West.

i guess that's what happens when you're football program over the history of time has been irrelevant.

So dez bryant gets a whole season for lying about a dinner and not committing any violations and Johnny D-bag gets a half a fricking game?

Are you guys more upset with the NCAA because they suck or because they didn't suspend Manziel?

If comparing to the Dez situation, it just shows how ridiculous the NCAA is. I don't think Dez should've been suspended and I don't think Manziel should either. It's his fricking name.

Otherwise, why do you guys want him suspended? Because you don't like him? frick that, I like to watch the kid play and I want to see LSU beat A&M with their whole team.

The NCAA is a fricking joke !! If this was an LSU problem , we would have gotten royally fricked up the arse. This is about money and the NCAA wanting to keep that smug prick of a QB on the field against Bama.

It is all goog cause if rich boy tries to make it in the NFL , he is going to get his pussy raped big time. No one is going to respect that spoiled as swipe in the Pros.

Bush and Dez Bryant must be tweeting:

"It's good to be a member of the SEC."

FIFY...$$$ Brotherhood.

But the NCAA sure did its best to kill the one program in the nation that ruined the ESPN-SEC's supremacy.

Pac 10 at the time had no TV deal with ESPN - CFB darling can't be outside of ESPN's ownership...hey, hey!

It goes hand in hand. If AJ Green loses half his season and Devier Posey loses half his season, then what is this? I for one want consistency with these rulings whether it be AJ Green, Cam, or Manziel.

That never would have been as big of a deal if it was simply handled right when Tressel found out about it.

Bryant has every right to feel screwed but they bought Bush a freaking house and he got "caught and punished" years after he went pro so what does he have to bitch about?

Will the NCAA punish him for not stopping the NCAA from profiting off of him?

I was under the impression that it was sort of a compromise between the two.

That's fine and should be expected. But it seems many are pissed because of who it is. Seems like a little of the tattle tale syndrome. People wanting kids suspended for selling their autograph?

This crap comes down to the NCAA. They have no consistency and move the goal posts. I would love to see the dismantling of the NCAA.
