Had it last year at the brewery. I found that a lot of their barrel aged beers, including this one, were very boozy when served cold.
Once the beer warmed up a bit the malt and bourbon complexity started to come through and it was excellent.

eh, not interested in something that strong. I tried the Melange 3 at the Bruery and it was just too damn hard to sip much less drink and it was 15%

A Timberbeast is too much for me and I think its around 10%. I'm not too sure I'd be interested in this beer.

At 17% I'd imagine it has to be a bit boozy...
