Do the OB backyard breeders have any methods they swear by? Should the momma dog get the white wormer like the pups, or ivomec like she always gets? The pups are two weeks old and due up for some worm drugs
And for visual reference...

White wormer for everybody while she is nursing.

Start with deworming mom, some intestinal parasites can be passed through milk and that will help keep them parasite free. Lots of intestinal parasites can be passed trans-placentally so pups may already have worms but if mom was being treated with Ivomec she should be parasite free. Keep puppies in clean environment.
You can use strongid - the yellow stuff or panacur- the white stuff on puppies usually at around 4 weeks.

I've heard of panacur really screwing up a few litters (as in almost killing the pups by destroying their stomachs). How rare is that?
Stay with the ivomec for the bitch?

Will Ivermectin kill all parasitic worms?
I was told there were some gastro worms that were not harmed by the drug?
